EVENTS: Women Who Woodfire

OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday, October 18, 6 - 9PM.
Wood-fired ceramics has an long history and an enduring mystique. The work produced is sometimes rustic, often subtle and always surprising, as the raw fire and the melting ash add effects that can be coaxed, but rarely anticipated. We feature now five outstanding women artists who have chosen wood-firing and their primary firing mode: JoAnne DeKeuster, Linda Christianson, Michelle Matthews, Joy Tanner and Tara Wilson.
